ABOUT this project

The New Engineering Building of 9500m2 in site area and and 12133 m2 in project area creates a new focus to the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment within the historic Upper Campus of UCT. The elevations appear as tectonic plates in response to the visual texture of Table Mountain. Large openings connect the mountain to a variety of learning and research spaces, including the Faculty garden.
