The Victoria & Alfred Waterfront is moving the landmark Cape Wheel to a new location next to the breakwater! The project comprises of bulk earthworks in the new location situated next to the breakwater, piling and ground beams to provide a stable foundation for the Wheel once relocated in its final position. In addition, a new ticket office is being constructed in the adjacent parking garage, paving works and landscaping that will compliment the project and provide the finishing touches upon completion. Construction has commenced in October 2022 and is set for completion in February 2022.
