The George Museum and General Repairs Project has been undertaken in 2022 and will be completed in 2023. The works comprise of upgrading for fire compliance and general repairs to the existing single-storey main building as well as renovations, alterations, and minor additions of different elements to the building. External works include replacement of parts of roofs, ceilings, floors, etc. and will also address fire water services, sewer reticulation systems and storm water disposal systems. Walkways and paving will also be created or upgraded.
