The Giant Strawberry Project was undertaken and completed in 2022 with a total height of 14.46m and diameter of 8.50m. The construction used 30 tons of steel for the structure, the impressive equivalent of 1.7 Million strawberries! 4350 nuts and bolts were used and 3899m2 of fibreglass used to construct the strawberry shape. It took approximately 4000 man hours to construct the giant strawberry with 960 litres of paint to cover this magnificent structure. A total of 40 people were involved in the project, these include an architect, designer, engineer and various teams involved in the steelwork, fibreglass and flooring. This Giant Strawberry is 682 times taller than the average strawberry!
